His Obituary

Memory by Alice

One thing my dad used to do while reading the newspaper, was check the obituaries. He always said that he was checking to see if he had died yet. The day his obituary came out in the paper, I wondered if he was reading the paper somewhere to officially see his own obituary. It was always pretty funny when he would tell us that. I thought I would share his on this blog for all to read a summary about his life.
Robert O Hamilton

Bob, “Papa Bob”, age 55 of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away Monday, October 13, 2008 near his country home. He was born February 10, 1953 in Murray, UT to Dave and Rita Hamilton. He lived his first twelve years in Riverton, UT before moving to Twin Falls where he remained the rest of his days. He graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1971 and married his high school sweetheart G’Lenn Ward on July 9, 1972. Together they have four wonderful children. Bob’s life revolved around his family, his two businesses, and his love for God’s great outdoors. Through his life of service, he coached numerous baseball and softball teams, helped dozens of young men receive their Eagle Scout award and took opportunities to help anyone and everyone in need. “Making Memories” was his passion and he spent most of his time finding opportunities to do the things he loved. His hobbies included riding mules, hunting, spending time with family and friends and looking for ways to make people laugh. He had the ability to touch people’s hearts and was fueled by the reaction he would receive from serving others.
